Bachelorette City Spotlight: CHICAGO

A WEEKEND IN THE WINDY CITY...

Chicago is one of the best locations for a bachelorette party- mostly because there are so many options when it comes to lodging, nightlife, meals & activities. Below are some of my suggested faves.

For all my girls who want to take their bachelorette parties to the next level…Check out my *Elites* suggestion below.

Lodging:

The Godfrey Hotel:  The Godfrey is an industrial chic hotel in the heart of River North- the perfect area for dining, nightlife & activities. Don’t forget to hit up the rooftop for some drinks before heading out on the town.

Old Town Penthouse: This chic and cozy Airbnb is located in Old Town- steps away from Second City Comedy Club & plenty of shopping and restaurants. It holds up to 10 guests with a total of 3 bedrooms. (Also- can you imagine the cute ‘grams you’ll get with that exposed brick wall?)

Acme Hotel:  The ONE downfall about Chicago is the winter. If you are having your bachelorette in one of the colder months, consider Acme Hotel. It’s not only in a great location but there is so much to do without even having to leave the property.  My ultimate favorite is the boozy slushies at Bodega!

*Elites* London House: London House is definitely a pricey option but you will fall in love with everything from the views to the location (walking distance from River North restaurants & nightlife!) Don't forget to grab drinks on the rooftop before your night out!

Brunch:

Hampton Social: We all know the best part of Chicago is summertime. At Hampton Social you can basically enjoy it all year round. They also have a basic AF rosé sign that you can take photos in front of.

80 Proof: If the bride is into boozy brunches, 80 Proof has you covered. From vodka infused cupcakes and unlimited mimosas to a donut wall, you’ll have plenty of material for the ‘gram.

Three Arts Club Café: Located inside Restoration Hardware, Three Arts is definitely a Chicago must-see. Reservations will have to be made well ahead of time but you can shop around the five floors of crave-worthy furniture while you wait for your table.

*Elites* NoMi Kitchen: Located in the Park Hyatt hotel and overlooking the Magnificent Mile, NoMi is sure to provide great food and an amazing atmosphere. Treat your squad to private dining in the art gallery or brunch in the rooftop garden.

Dinner:

RPM: As the child of Giuliana & Bill Rancic, RPM is one of my ultimate Chicago faves. Make your reservations early since it’s typically very busy but the trendy atmosphere and expansive wine list is sure to impress.  * TIP: Get your official bachelorette party logo from TGIT  (Who needs a custom hashtag for the weekend when you can have a custom logo?) and call the restaurant to have them add it to the top of the menu before you arrive!

Beatnik: Beatnik is a Chicago hidden gem. The food is definitely pricey but allows for sharing and let’s be honest- you’ll probably get late night drunk food anyways.  The real selling point here is the insanely beautiful décor (do it for the gram’) and the delicious cocktails.

Happy Camper:  Instead of choosing the touristy deep-dish pizza route, go for Happy Camper instead. The vibe is young and fun and there is a huge variety of pizzas for any taste level.  Contact the restaurant for more info on renting out the camper van and booking an all-you-can-drink package for the group.

*Elites* Alinea: If the bride-to-be is a foodie, Alinea is a definite must in a Chicago.  It’s best for smaller groups (they only take parties up to 6) but it’s an experience the bride-to-be won’t ever forget. The packages include anywhere from 16-22 courses with insane dishes such as the “edible helium balloon.”

Cocktails & Nightlife:

Joy District: If you’re looking for an amazing frosé and the best music, head to the Joy District rooftop. They also have 2 additional floors for rainy days or winter months.

Three Dots and a Dash:  Three Dots is known for its (dangerously strong) drinks & Tiki bar-themed atmosphere. The shared cocktails always come out with a great presentation & are perfect for small groups.

Celeste: Celeste is a great option for bachelorette party groups. With multiple floors, you can choose your vibe from a casual lounge to the dance floor. Weather permitting, the fourth floor outdoor garden is a refreshing change from some of the other chaotic rooftops around Chicago.

*Elites* Studio Paris: Studio Paris is reminiscent of the Vegas nightlife scene with VIP bottle service options & several prominent DJs and celebrity appearances. Check out their event calendar and their custom bachelorette package for details.

Activities:

Polish & Pour:  The BYOB spa parties at Polish & Pour are perfect for bachelorette parties- especially as a pre-game before heading to the bars.

AIR Aerial Fitness: AIR is one of my ultimate favorite workouts and a fun option for the bride-to-be who loves fitness. It’s challenging but you’ll get a great Instagram opp out of it!

High Tea at the Langham:  High Tea is perfect for the classier bachelorette groups (or if you just want to pretend you’re classy for a bit). At $65 a person, the Langham will provide you with a lovely offering of tea & sweet and savory delights.

*Elites* Private Luxury Yacht:  What’s better than summer in Chicago? Summer in Chicago on a yacht. The fees are definitely pricey- especially for small groups - but typically include an open bar and private chef experience.

Check out the Royals package to get a custom weekend itinerary catered specifically for your group!
